We stayed with Kay for 2 nights at the end of our touring holiday in Ireland. It was the best 2 nights of the holiday. Room was very clean, warm and comfortable and the breakfast was plentiful and tasty. To anyone who is thinking of staying to catch the ferry we would suggest you stay an extra night to visit the famine ship and other attractions in the area. Breakfast is served early so you can leave in plenty of time for the ferry... which incidentally is only 5 minutes away by car. Will definitely be back next time we visit Ireland.

Room Tip: Downstairs room has double door to grounds. Ideal for disabled or for people with dogs.

We stayed at Kay's lovely house on recommendation from a family member, and we weren't disappointed. We were greeted with coffee and home made cakes. The choice at breakfast was remarkable, everything you could think of. We also stayed a second night on our way back to the ferry after sight seeing the ring of Kerry . Nothing was too much trouble for Kay. The first visit we had there was an upstairs room which we found quieter than the second visit when we had a downstairs room but only because the people above weren't very quiet, it wasn't late but we had retired early in order to get up for the morning ferry. We would deffinately stay there again.

Room Tip: Maybe get a room that's not on the ground floor

At last a lovely B&B close to Rosslare Harbour. Very friendly host welcomed us with tea, scones & apple cake, all delicious. Lovely room & sole use of comfortable sitting room. Excellent home cooked early breakfast before leaving for ferry. Will be back soon.

A warm greeting (coffee and cakes), and not too much fuss were a relief after a day's journey from London.A good pub for dinner is a short stroll away. We stayed on the first and last day of a visit to Ireland, the B&B being 5 minutes from the ferry. We had one of the ground floor rooms, and although there is no smoking,it's easy enough to step outside. The room was clean and comfortable-no complaints. I suppose if you were planning to stay a while,it might feel a little small but for one night it was just right. Breakfast was great, freshly cooked early for the morning ferry. We would be happy to stay again.

Room Tip: Ask for ground floor if you're a smoker and if you don't want to carry bags upstairs.

We turned up on spec & were lucky to have a twin room on the ground floor at a very reasonable rate, ideal for my mother who is registered disabled. The car park had lots of room. There was a step for wheelchairs, but as we parked next to the patio doors it was only 3 or 4 steps from car to the bed. We were served freshly baked cakes, scones with Jam, a pot of tea and hot chocolate before heading out for a meal. The room and en-suite were immaculately clean, homely and freshly decorated. We pre-ordered from the extensive breakfast menu and slept well. What a breakfast, home-made bread, yoghurts, we both had Porridge with Bailey's and a full Irish breakfast which saw us through until late that day. It's not often I'd tip for a B&B breakfast but we did. The only bad thing was my own stupidity, leaving behind my spare mobile phone under the sheets (used as an alarm). The owner found it and immediately took it to the post office and couriered it back, for which I am incredibly grateful, and she wouldn't even take any Paypal or BACS in compensation. What a lovely, honest, genuine lady Kay was, a real credit to the hospitality industry in Ireland. As said in the title there was also a well-loved and colourful garden, with chickens for eggs, and the place is not over-looked unlike most B&B's out on the main road. I'd say this would make a great place to stay for a few days in it's own right, not just a ferry stop-over, and she obviously gets a lot of returning and frequent guests. Thanks again.

Stayed here going to and from County Cork for a family holiday. The main selling point is its close proximity to the ferry port, just 5 minutes away. We appreciated the tea and home made cake on arrival and our rooms were fine for a short stay. The B&B obviously sees a lot of trade, as some of the fixtures and fittings in our bedroom and bathroom look tired and in need of replacing, but for a one night stay this is only a minor quibble. Handily there are two pubs across the road if you're looking for an evening meal locally. Cullertons was the better of the two.
