The Mill Road Farm B&B is a wonderful place to stay, We stayed here last year as well and when we return to Kilmore Quay I would stay here again. Philomena is a wonderful hostess and makes a great irish breakfast!!! The rooms are very clean, we had a good size bathroom with plenty of hot water. Her husband gave us a tour of the farm (they have over 130 acres!) and showed us his horses, won had just won a race in England, he was so proud to show us the horse. Kilmore Quay is a very small village but a great place to stay. We at at Mary Barry's which has delicious food. They also offer a free shuttle service which came and picked us up at the B&B and brought us back. The breakfast in the morning is fabulous!! No one walks away hungry. The "full irish" is with three bacon & three sausages, I had the scambled egges with salmon on the side, to die for!!!! The brown bread was home baked and wonderful. The garden in the front yard is beautiful. I would recommend staying at the Mill Road Farm if you stay in Kilmore Quay. thanks for a great stay!

My husband and I stayed there one night during our honeymoon. It was a wonderful B&B! The breakfast was delicious and the owners of the house were wonderful. The room was nice and clean and the water was hot. I would definitely recommend staying here! Very cute dogs and beautiful horses as well!

My partner and I stayed bed and breakfast for two nights in April, and overall were very happy with our experience. The room we stayed in (Saltees) was a good size - bed was very comfortable, and there was a lovely view from the window. The bathroom was fine. although the shower could have benefitted from a soap tray. Water was nice and hot, and everything was nice and clean. The cooked breakfast was delicious - everything really fresh. We walked down into Kilmore Quay a couple of times - takes about 30 minutes, though you do have to walk on the road, so if you have small kids it might not be ideal. Philomena and her husband were lovely - they offered to pick us up from the pub, and although we felt guilty about disturbing their evening, took them up on the offer. It was windy and raining, so it really was appreciated.

The Mill Road Farm House is a mixed bag of good and not so good for accommodations. We choose this B&B for the price and close proximity to the Rosslare Ferry Port. The first thing we did when we arrived was to grab our books and a cup of tea and head for the sunshiny garden out front. It was heavenly. On the other hand the house is dated and the bathrooms need a new make-over or a good scrubbing. There was a spider web in the corner of the bathroom. Philomena did provide us with a hearty breakfast and for that we are grateful.

My boyfriend and I stayed at here June 5th for one night. We didn't book in advance and picked the B&B out of a book of many others the day we wanted to stay. We were so lucky! Not only did our hostess have no problem with us booking so late, but she was more than accommodating when we arrived after 11pm!

The house looks extremely well kept from the outside, with a lovely front garden. Our room was clean and bright, with a large front window. The bathroom we had was the largest we had seen all week! And we even had chairs and a table for a little sitting area. The room was very quiet, even though there were many other guests.

Breakfast was served around a large table where guests could mingle with one another. Full Irish Breakfast was served and was delicious. The house is a very short drive into Kilmore Quay. And there are wonderful thatched roof houses in the surrounding area.
I would definately stay here again if we ever return to Ireland!
