“Too good to miss”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 September 2012

You come to Wexford to stay with Caitriona - visiting the town ( or the rest of Ireland for that matter) is somewhat incidental, as Caitriona's warmth and unbounded hospitality tend to dominate your visit. Nothing is too much for this wonderfully busy woman, and spending just a little time to chat with her over tea and all the organic delights from her kitchen, you get an insight into a rich cultural background, that she enthusiastically shares with you.
Join her and her fellow choir members and acquaintances at Mary's Bar, and you're in for rare and raw slice of Irish bar entertainment as you've probably never experienced it.
Caitriona and Theo's place is just too good to miss - 20 mins from the ferry, but make it a destination rather than just a convenient stop-over before or after your ferry.

First trip in Irelanda and first experience in B&B, I have spent there two weeks. The room was so confortable, friendly and well presented. The breakfast was absolutely delicious (an approval to the Caitrions's home-made marmalade ... fantastic!)
Caitriona and Theo are very, very special, I'm sure I'll be back to the Cuasnog B&B when I come in Ireland again!

This was our first trip to Ireland and the introduction to B & B's in this great country. We were fortunate to find Cuasnog in TripAdvisor. Everything that is written is absolutely true. The owners are very warm, hospitable and provide tips about what to see. The smoked salmon is provided when you arrive - way cool! Wonderful breakfast in the morning. The location is perfect to access this quaint town. Thank you for sharing your place with Bill and me.

Cuasnog is a dream B&B. We stayed there with our three month old for one night. We were greeted by Theo with tea and smoked salmon and homemade brown bread. He was more than happy for us to bring fish and chips back to the house and even supplied crockery and cutlery for us in the dining room which is available for guest use. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was enormous and the shower wonderful. Parking was readily available on the street outside. The directions on the website made the B&B very easy to find, although the signage on McAuleys pharmacy meant we missed it the first time. It's basically on the roundabout!

Breakfast was wonderful with a well sized full Irish - not too much food which can be the case at B&Bs. Caitriona very kindly bounced our daughter so we could eat in comfort!

Many thanks to Caitriona and Theo. We will certainly be back if we have need of a B&B in Wexford again.

I stay in Wexford regularly with work and I always check Cuasnóg for availability. I'm equally pleased and amazed when I find that there's 'room at the inn'. Authentic warm hospitality, comfortable and well presented rooms and wholesome locally sourced home-made breakfasts - a real pleasure every time. The B&B is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood and the centre of Wexford town is less than a 5 minute walk away, really very hard to beat and highly recommended.

If only all B&B's were run like this. Catriona and Theo have a great laid-back style which puts guests immediately at ease and feeling very welcome. Despite the casual atmosphere, it was obvious that this is a very well run place. The rooms were spotless and comfortable and breakfast was a real treat. I even got a free lesson in soda-bread baking!

If you're looking for a well-positioned base from which to explore Wexford town and the surrounding countryside, this is definitely the place for you.

Though my husband and I only stayed one night, we enjoyed our stay. Catriona was very welcoming and provided us with all we needed for the day. The room had plenty of space and had light-darkening curtains (a big plus!!). The restroom was bigger than most with toiletries provided. She was very gracious for breakfast and took our personal order. It was delicious and she even wrapped up the leftovers for our trip!! Overall great stay!
