We just got back from a 5 night stay in whites. First impressions of the hotel were very good. Fab lobby but a dark haired receptionist named Anna was very rude. But at least she was the only rude staff member we encountered. Gareth in the library bar and blonde haired Anna in the terrace restaurant both stand out as being very courteous and kind. Room was fine it was a double bed ,a single bed and bunk beds. Not too big but was clean and comfortable. Although it wasn't cleaned very well all week we were there. Food was lovely and coffee dock was great idea. Breakfast was lovely with great variety and especially the fruit salad was delicious. Night times were lovely and quiet and aircon in rooms was needed as it was quite warm. Didn't use the spa but the swimming pool was spotless and well maintained. Wexford itself is quite rundown but we only went into town one day. We would recommend sweet valley farm for children it was wonderful and well worth the money. We would def stay in whites again and had a lovely holiday.

Stayed here for three nights .This is a large hotel and being the summer there were lots of families and coach trips making the hotel very busy but they cope very well.
We had upgraded to a superior room and asked for a room with a view.
We were on the fourth floor and had a good view. Although we were right beside the lift there was no noise .
The room was a good size although we wanted just a double it had a single bed too which I'm not keen on as it takes a lot of space up.
The bathroom was small with a shower over the bath.
There was a flat screen tv ,tea and coffee and an empty fridge which was very handy.
It was warm when we were there but the aircon was very quiet and effective.
The room was spotless when we arrived but was never dusted or hoovered during our stay.
There was entertainment at night but it was difficult to get a seat to watch .
Breakfast was very good .
Great fruit salad and good quality produce.
We never had to wait for a table and plates were cleared very quickly.
The hotel is in a brilliant location ,shops bars and restaurants all within a minutes walk.
There is a 3 euro per night car park charge.
We had lovely weather when we stayed and there is a lovely courtyard to sit in and have a drink.
I would definitely stay again if we were in Wexford.

Room Tip: Ask for a front view

We spent a great weekend in White's last weekend. The food was fab, they were great with kids and the beds are so comfortable. The courtyard, the pool and the kids club all make it very family friendly. The staff are brilliant and help in anyway they can. We did meet 1 member of reception that needs to go to the charm school everyone else did! The hotel is so central it's brilliant. We had a big family meal for over 20 people adults and children on Sunday night and the staff were brilliant as was the food.

Our room was lovely, looking onto the courtyard and with a view of the harbour too. We had a cot, single and double bed and still had plenty of room. We were welcomed with some lovely Prosecco, sweets and buns much to the excitement of our children. Thank you very much!

The downsides: charging for the car park when we had paid almost €500 for 3 nights is nonsense! This alone annoyed me so much I've told everyone since we left and would encourage management to reconsider! The noise in the courtyard after the wedding Saturday night was unacceptable and there should be someone in charge of clearing it as we were awake til 4.30am. When we complained Monday morning as we checked out nothing was done. Finally the hotel is very stylish but is becoming a little tatty and I would love to see the place cleaned up before it becomes a major job!

Thanks to all for a very pleasant and happy stay. We will be back but I hope to see the car park charge gone.

Just returned from a weekend in Whites. This hotel is professionally operated, quite large (for Wexford), and one that I can recommend.

The room was very clean, comfy bed and the bathroom was fine. We spent time in the hotel bar (Library Bar?) each night and enjoyed the live music that was on. Special mention for the restaurant, we had a three course as part of our package, and the food, service and overall experience was fantastic.

Complaints? The booze was Dublin prices (maybe a little dearer even!). Wexford seems to be a bit of a tourist trap, so perhaps that is the reason. The Air Con was a bit gutless also, I understand that usually isn't an issue in Ireland, but there was a bit of a muggy heatwave while we were there.

In summary, I recommend this place for a weekend away. It probably isn't the cheapest in town, but the place hums like a well oiled machine. Get the steak in the restaurant.

Room Tip: The main lift is always busy. Use the other lift that is away from the lobby.

Stayed here for 2 nights 2 adults 2 kids lovely hotel lots of things to do for kids like kids club swimming etc nice restaurant with good portions very kids friendly the room was lovely and had nice touch of cup cakes in the room for the kids the breakfast had every thing we could want the issues I had was firstly the girls at checkin desk had very poor English couldn't give me directions or understand what I was saying they should only hire staff who are fluent in English.in the bar there were a number of girls going around collecting glasses but couldn't take an order which meant going to bar which were very slow and couldn't work the til or make cocktails which were on special making each trip frustrating and at least 30mins long it wasn't busy so no need for this wait the air conditioning wasn't working in the room and we had to ask reception both days to fix it which they did but it still wasn't cool enough the beds were made every day but room wasn't cleaned ie glasses from night before or rubbish taken away floor wasn't hoovered the bed are very comfortable and clean we had a lovely sleep and it was very quiet at night which is essential with kids no doors or lift banging no noisy neighbours so rooms must be very well insulated would have gotten too marks if it wasn't for the slow poorly trained staff they were nice and friendly though

We booked one night VIP experience with superior room. We really enjoyed our meal and breakfast . We used the thermal spa which is lovely but needs a little upgrade. It looks a bit tired. My husband had a massage and loved it. I think the €3 car park charge is a little ridiculous when with our use of the spa we spent €250. Staff are really helpful and friendly. It was our first night without our little boy and we had a great time overall.

We stayed in whites Hotel for one night in July. we upgraded to the VIP suite which included a small bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates they could not even be bothered to put the champagne on ice. The rooms seem to be very dated and the staff were not very friendly. Car park is a nightmare.
