It was the sound of live Irish music at Sunday lunch time which attracted us to the the Centenary Stores . We had been looking for somewhere to eat which wasn't too fancy or pricey. Not a gastronomic experience but our meal of salmon and vegetables was fine for our requirements . It was served by two friendly young waitresses and certainly wasn't expensive .

Very sorry to say that this was our only disappointing meal in our two weeks in Ireland, up to this point every and beyond every meal was superb but this was poor quality food and the only place where we were not asked if everything was OK. Such a shame!

We popped in here for a quick bite to eat while waiting for the train back to Dublin. How lucky were we! There were 7 locals playing foot tapping Irish music which made the experience wonderful. The musicians were having a ball. Our lunch of Pâté and Caesar Salad was delicious and good value. Staff were attentive and when we asked for extra bread for the pâté it was no bother. Well done to everyone.

Was in Wexford early on a Sunday morning, looking for somewhere open and found this gem of a place. Poked my head in the door to ask if they were open, (10.45am), the lad cleaning said not officially, but would let us have a pint anyhow!! What a top man!! Spent a couple of hours in here at the start of what turned out to be a top quality pub crawl around Wexford. I didn't eat in hear, but i bet it was good!!
