This is the second time I have stayed at this site, normally I only stay a couple of days anywhere but this year I booked for a week - This is a green field site so dont come expecting fancy drives and lit up like a Christmas tree at night, just good ole grass to park on and the moon giving a glimmer of light showing you the way to the basic but very clean toilet/shower block at night. This is a very peaceful area and the site reflects this with no hassle or rowdiness whatsoever. The owners are very nice people to talk to and are very vigilant at keeping an eye on everything and making sure there are no unwanted visitors, several times we went away for the day and left awning etc open without fear of theft. There is a small private beach on site but if you want long evening walks on a beach there are some beautiful blue flag beaches near by. The site shop is very well stocked and prices are very reasonable so that cuts down on the need to travel daily to town. Electric hookup for tourers and even for some of the campers are provided and there is fresh water at several different points on site. This is a unbelievable place to get away from it all and just chill out and recharge the batteries, thats what holidays are all about for me anyway....

Enjoyed our weekend here. We pitched on Friday evening and got a superb sea view. Site was well maintained, other campers were well behaved, facilities were clean (if basic) as was were the grounds, and the owners were very obliging. For families theres a large play area for ball games/activities, a small beach, and wind for kites. Site shop stays open to 1800hrs, range of camping items/essentials. Theres a few crows around that can be a bit noisy but harmless. On Saturday the top camping field did fill up with day campers and it got a bit crowded where we were. We encountered no insects whatsoever at the campsite. We experienced no theft, partys, drunkenness or rowdiness at the site either. The owners were quick on the ball if people wandered into the site unannounced. Road into Wicklow is just under 3 miles, very narrow with a few blind corners, majority of it has no sidewalk so it can be a bit dangerous to walk during the day (wouldn't attempt at night), taxi's were charging 7-10 euro.

Room Tip: Bring a wind cheater. Can get chilly at night. With people doing BBQ's the place can get smoky...

We stayed here over the Easter weekend and really unjoyed it.

We stayed in the top field and had lots of room to set up and for the kids to play about it. A very secure site as the gates were shut early in the evening so no worries about cars or kids.

The facilities were basic compared to other sites but very clean and well kept .

We pitch our tent over looking stunning views of the sea and it was just a short walk ( very steep steps ) to a beautiful little beach - we were the only ones on it !

Great shop with everything you could possibly need for camping and prices very good too.

Would highly recommend this site for quiet relaxation and great for families with small children.

Wicklow town is only 2 minutes down the road.

This is a very well managed family camping and caravanning site , just 2 miles from Wicklow Town.
Set on 22 acres, the strand is magnificent and the hilltop views to sea are awesome.
We love the space provided and the facilities are really well kept.
Brittas Bay is a short drive to the south, this is an ideal base from which to tour County Wicklow and so near to the N11 main Dublin to Rosslare route.
Try it, you will not be disappointed

Very well maintained, spotless and right on a most beautiful beach. The surrounding countryside has endless picturesque places to visit and the site is near Wicklow Town and local golf clubs. Very well stocked shop on site and John's friendliness and personal attention to detail is second to none. Well recommended for leisurely holidays and time out.
