“For vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike”
Reviewed 18 August 2014 via mobile

This is a great place for vegetarians and non vegetarians alike. I had been recommended it by two different people before meerkat f a friend who goes here all the time. It's a walk up counter and it will always have different choices. Soups, salads, pastries, and veggie type creations appear to be the staples. It's owned by twin brothers whom one grows the organic veggies on his farm and the other runs the place. Pretty darn cool. Outside and inside seating available and an organic shop attached. Location is great. When your done you can walk a block to the beach or take a bike ride. I will be adding this one to my regular stops!

“Best breakfast ever”
Reviewed 16 August 2014

Finally found a place where we can eat a fantastic breakfast pre/post workout!
Free porridge is a huge bonus with delicious sugar free fruit compote - to die for hot chocolate with almond milk (made one health nut teenager very happy). Take away salads for lunch and gluten/dairy free treats for afters - we found everything you need to make the goodies at home in the shop. You can eat everything in The Happy Pear and feel so good afterwards we will be back! x

“Great Friday evening dinner with friends”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

Had a super evening dinner at the Happy Pear with a group of friends. Lovely friendly service, generous delicious food and good wine. The only negative was it was very noisy as packed to the rafters. Wouldn't put me off going back though. Highly recommended.

“Waiters With Gusto”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

The waiting staff are an extension of the ethos of a restaurant. Your experience at their hands is ultimately going to decide the success of the evening. Yes, it was the Happy Pear restaurant and yes they were happy staff! They were well informed, personable, professional, genuine and attentive. We even heard a passionate rendition from the whole waiting staff of "Happy Birthday" for a lucky customer at the table beside us. They were shiny happy people at work...must be something in the food...

“My local never fails!”

I can never find a fault with this place. Fantastic! Some of the friendliest staff you will find anywhere and the coffee and food is always delicious. The menu always dishes out a variety of new meals to sample! Always interesting, never boring in there!
