Great breakfast and Fiona gave us tea and cake on arrival and we had a lovely chat. The room is very clean. The bathroom is compact (in the triple at least tho I did peer through a couple of open doors and the double rooms seemed to have larger bathroom areas).
This is situated just a little out of town and so is very quiet and there is off road parking.
This was a very nice place to spend our last night in Ireland.

I sadly only got to stay with Fiona in her wonderful B&B for one night but I have to say it was such a real pleasure. The house itself is tucked away from the road so its lovely and quiet, Fiona is incredibly welcoming, my en-suite room was spotlessly clean and cosy (had an amazing sleep!!) and to top it off the full Irish breakfast at Glen na Smole is to die for!! If you can't handle a full Irish, Fiona has a truly varied menu for every taste. Glen na Smole is the perfect spot for a Wicklow visit if you need a base for any sightseeing you may be doing or if you are just passing through as I was and you stay for just a night. Really great spot! Thanks Fiona!

Room Tip: Fiona was nice enough to show me some of the other rooms and like my own they were ensuite and very...

Glen Na Smole was my first B&B this time in Ireland. Fiona is typically a very warm & hospitable hostess and that's why I keep returning to gorgeous Ireland! My room was large, clean & my ensuite was the biggest bathroom with a full sized tub I have seen in this style of accomodation and was excellent.
For breakfast I chose the omlette with tomatoes & fresh herbs, snipped straight from the herb pot on the kitchen window sill it doesn't get fresher than that & was superb. I would not hesitate in recommending it.

A little bit outside of Wicklow (it's around a 15 or 20 minute walk). Rooms were cleans and the hostess was great.

Breakfast was very tasty and prepared promptly.

Would definitely recommend. And as long as you're in the area, I recommend driving through the Wicklow Mountians National Park - it's gorgeous.

We used Glen na Smole as a base fow a few days while we took in the local sights/trips. Once again Fiona made us most welecome. We stayed in the recently renovated purple room, beautiful, light and airey with en suite.
Breakfast, as usual was varied and beautifully presented. Over heard another guest saying on a wet morning "who cares about the weather when you have a breakfast like this"
We would definitely recommmend taking advantage of this beautiful B&B.
