Stayed one night in a sunny June 2014. Location is perfect, just 2 mins from town centre, 5 mins from beach and harbour wall walks. At the back of the B&B there's a sitting area on the river bank. Lady owner friendly, and recommended couple of places up the road to eat - both looked nice, and the one we chose - the Mystic Celt - excellent.
Comfortable room, breakfast good, Definitely thumbs up.

Room Tip: Try to get room at the back with a river view

We stayed one night in May during a golfing trip across Ireland. Location is nice, along the river and just a couple of minutes walk from town centre. Our room was pretty large, but there was an additional bed taking so much room that we couldn’t open our luggage properly. While breakfast and hosts were both nice, we faced anyway a major issue. Window curtains in our room were absolutely inefficient to keep darkness while sunrise happened at about 5am. We both couldn’t sleep since then. I could add that wifi wasn’t working well. All in all, a mixed experience.

Great location just a couple of minutes walk into the town centre. The owner was very friendly and happy to spend time discussing places of interest. The breakfast was excellent with views overlooking the river

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the B&B would be quieter than those on the front

We stayed three nights in May and we were very happy with the accommodations. We rented a car so the car park was a plus for us. The landing below the car park was a lovely place to sit and relax. The swans swimming by were a nice touch. There is market just down the hill, and a pharmacy, and then the pubs and restaurants all within walking distance were great. We especially liked the Bridgehouse Pub. The bathroom was tight but it was an ensuite, the water pressure was great as was the hot water. The only complaint was that the wifi was weak in the front room. Still, considering our next hotel wanted 9 pounds for an hour of Internet access free wifi was much appreciated. Breakfast was really good, too.

For those that are wanting a quite place to stay outside Dublin this would be a great choice. We didn't mind the drive and the peace and quiet in this lovely little town made it well worth while.

Trish was the sweetest host ever. We only stayed one night but she made us feel like family. She makes a great cup of tea & coffee and breakfast was amazing! The b&b is very cozy and in walking distance into the main part of town. We literally stepped out and walked down the road to restaurants, coffee shops and pubs. We also walked down to the harbor. I loved my experience.
