“A 'must do' for all hill walkers!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 November 2012

We live in south Co. Dublin and walk in the Wicklow mountains every week and every week we invariably touch some part of the Wicklow Way. The Wicklow Way stretches south for 129km from Marley Park in Dublin to Clonegal on the Carlow/Wexford border. The vast majority of the route is off-road and passes through a variety of wonderful landscapes. Enjoy the mountains, valleys and mystic woods. Dotted along the route are pubs, Youth Hostels and B&Bs where you can rest your weary limbs and quench your thirst with some of the 'black stuff'.

“A trip out of Dublin...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 July 2012

We decided to leave the city because we are more scenery people anyway and visit Wicklow Mountains. I saw part of it on PS I love You and it stole my heart and took me to Ireland.

The Sally Gap is gorgeous!! Way better than Wicklow Gap. Not much to do in Wicklow.

Definitely worth a day trip :)

“Unparalled Beauty”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 June 2012

For those who don't already know about this gem, here goes.
Whether you are native to ireland or just visiting the wicklow way must be visited. The wicklow way is a path and a trek through the wicklow mountains which takes in some of the most beautiful scenery Ireland has to offer. Along the wicklow way you will pass through many small villages and towns with lots to offer a hungry and thirsty traveller. This is a favourite for walkers and hikers alike.

“Fantastic hiking”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2012

Excellent hikes around the Glendalough area - would recommend it to anyone looking for a moderately difficult full-day hike within easy day trip distance of Dublin.
