“marvellous hiking”
Reviewed 3 August 2014 via mobile

a very pleasant 4 or 5 day hike in the wicklow mountains; the official
website about the hike gives approx durations for each trajectory which are a bit exaggerated (we did most of it more than an
hour less than suggested)
landscape is beautiful and very diverse; b&b on the way available and pleasant
transport is available but can
be more tedious to arrange if going back & forward to dublin each day
we were very lucky to have only 1,5 hour rain on our trip which is exceptional for Ireland
would recommend anyone with a good physical condition to do
this hike in the beautiful
and welcoming country if the Irish!

“Thank you, Irish Mother Nature!”
Reviewed 30 July 2014

One of the most picturesque and not really challenging walking trails-which means it's for everybody. The views are spectacular and there's not many people on the way which makes the walking even more beautiful. I truly recommend. And you don't have to walk 5days in a row..you can do it in parts as we did it.That is, of course, if you have time.

“Best Long walk in Europe”
Reviewed 21 July 2014

Check out the views! Luggala and Glenamalure are the finest on the East coast of Ireland...
Glendalough is for the tourists, these two are for connoisseurs.

“A great drive”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

One of my favorite roads in Ireland to drive. Great scenery and views. Stop at the top for the view and fresh air and let the car just glide down the hill towards Glendalough. Turn up the music and enjoy
