“Great fun in Ballinastoe”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

Booked bikes for me and my son in Ballinastoe in July, 15 km of well marked and well maintained tracks. Biking-ie were friendly and helpful by email beforehand and on the day were ready for us and got us set up woth two bikes. Great day out, my first time doing this can highly recommend it. Lovely picnic spot on the top overlooking Lough Tay

“Fantastic experience”
Reviewed 31 July 2014 via mobile

We hired 2 FS mountain bikes and booked a three hour session with Richie from biking.ie in Ballinastoe. Both of us are novice mountain bikers but Richie was extremely patient and gave us very clear pre-ride instruction and basic training. We had the opportunity to ride some single trails as well as a gentle ride around one of the beautiful nearby lakes. The bikes we had were in great condition and helmets are also provided. If you are in the Dublin / Wicklow area and looking for gentle to exteme mountain biking in stunning scenery then choose these guys.

“best place to rent bikes”
Reviewed 30 July 2014

We hired bikes for 3 days from these guys, they were fantastic and the guys were very helpful. We stayed at the Court House Inn in Roundwood and used that as our base, recommned it to anyone who lovies off road biking. Their dedicated tracks are fab if a littel confusing for getting home.

“Great Mt. bike rental location for Technical Bike Course-Ballinastoe Trail”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

Unfortunately we were not able to rent dual suspension Mt Bikes, but aside from that for 3 hrs we paid 30 Euro per person for very nice hard tail Mt Bikes and had a great time easily finding and enjoying Ballinastoe trail, 16 km or so of technical Mt. Biking through woods and beautiful Ireland country scenery. The course was rocky, beware, but the trail was very well laid out and maintained, a few long uphill spots, but nothing too steep that granny gear couldn't handle. There is one port-a-potty (plastic portable outhouse) to use before starting the trail which should take no more than 2 1/2 hrs with a break/leisurely pace. Helmet rental was included and the tube for the tire I popped was only 5 Euro. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. Bring snacks / drinks for trail, not much to buy in terms of food/beverage here.
