We book a 6 night stay at Kippure Estate, for a chill out and the Punchestown festival. The drive to Kippure to me was wow, the views amazing (roads on the narrow side). Arrived at the Estate, our room wasn't ready, we waited by the bar area, which was very pleasing. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our house was clean and tidy, with everything we needed, as went self catering. House could do with a little maintanence, but nothing drastic enough to ruin what you see when looking out of each window. The views something out of this world. Had a really lovely stay, and if up early enough will see the sheep in the gardens. Will be returning in the future.

Overall I really enjoyed the day of activities, we felt the orienteering was a little dangerous and should maybe be adapted...

Facilities where great. Instructors where really knowledgable and didn't rush the activities encouraging people to conquer their fears.

We done rock climbing, high ropes, leap of faith, abseiling & orienteering

we were a group of 6 families( 12 adults + children) for a holiday in wicklow and stayed for 2 nights in the athdown houses on the kippure estate. the houses were exactly as the pictures shown in the website. the house was clean and warm. the views from the windows are exceptionally beautiful. we cooked our own food in the kitchen which had all the basic appliances like fridge, kettle, microwave, dishwasher. we enjoyed it thoroughly and would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a peaceful holiday...

I had a lovely time at a friends wedding in May held in Kippure. The grounds were absolutely stunning and we were lucky enough to have amazing weather so the ceremony was held outside, the canapes and bubbles on the lawn, the buffet outside, and a beautiful outdoor campfire was a lovely touch when you needed to escape the dance floor for some fresh air in the evening.
The accomodation was lovely, but the food I found both dinner and breakfast especially tasty, simple but tasty and done well.
The bartenders were excellent, friendly, hard working, efficient.
The stroll to the River Liffey stream in the morning to soak the toes just breath taking... My only downer was the coffee wasn't great for breakfast and frankly, that can be very important to some!
I do recommend the venue for an event of this nature, especially on a sunny cloudless day, it seems like your in heaven.

We're just home from a three night stay in one of the ash down houses on the Kippure Estate. The house was very nice with all you need, the estate is a bit remote and you should make sure you have all your food etc with you. The house was lovely and warm and we got the tv working by putting the arial on a box, the signal must be weak because of the mountains, but who goes on holidays to watch tv? we had cards, music etc with us. Celine met us on the first day and was very helpful. We would definitely recommend the estate for a holiday and look forward to returning some time.

This was my first time to Kippure, was a bit of a nightmare to find but I got there in the end.
It's quite remote, yet the quietness and peacefulness there is wonderful. Really loved the views.
The room was ok (not very warm) and the kitchen had some appliances. The TV didn't work (wasn't tuned in). The bathroom was tiny.
Breakfast was basic, but there was sufficient. Staff were lovely and helpful.

We stayed here in Sept 2012 for a friends hen party. It was a slightly alternative type hen party and it was fab! We had a day of out door activities, sky trek, leap of faith, archery, zip line etc. there was something for everyone. The rooms and the houses were very comfortable and relaxing. The food was good and service very friendly and welcoming. The scenery is breathtaking!!
