Four adults and two children out to celebrate a birthday. Tried the Coach on recommendation. We weren't disappointed with anything. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The pub was comfortable and the surroundings were very pleasant. My grand daughter wanted a meal from the adults menu. They were happy to oblige with a smaller portion. Every meal looked and tasted fantastic. We would all highly recommend The Coach and Horses for a great night out.

Enjoyed a lovely meal with family and friends in a lovely restaurant. The pub and beer garden are fabulous and complimented the area excellently. Love the area and the pub and can't wait to visit again soon

Our party changed from 10 to 14 to 20 then on arrival we were a couple more still.

Throughout the changes and especially when we arrived, the staff were incredibly accommodating and patient while remaining friendly. At times, had it been the other way round, I would have been extremely frustrated but they showed admirable professionalism.

Orders were taken promptly and efficiently, food delivered in a very reasonable time given how busy it was on a Sunday lunchtime, and meals were consumed with gusto. Veg and gravy was plentiful too.

Top marks to the whole team, we will definitely be back next year, thank you for having us!

This place appeared to have a big menu. The choice was there for those who can eat what they like. Not so good for vegetarians, vegans or those with food intolerance. Staff not really informed on dish contents. I had a basic egg chips and peas which was very disappointing - chips dry, peas hard - the egg wasn't too bad! Wouldn't go back.
