The Rotary Club of Aylsham had an excellent evening "A Taste of Provence" meal. Great food, great service. Well worth a visit.

This is our second visit. Came November 2013 with our eldest daughter & son-in-law. Food & service excellent. Visited Good Friday with our youngest daughter, who like us is a foodie! Excellent again. A gem, added bonus it accepts taste card! Someone mentioned it was dated, we say quaint & the level of cleanliness was superb. Will be going next with my sister

We often visit Cromer with our caravan and like to try new places for breakfast, we have used this restaurant twice for breakfast and have not been disappointed. Its freshly cooked and presented very nicely, everything is very tasty. The service is always good and staff pleasant. The toilets are clean as is the restaurant. If I had to be picky I would like my sausage cooked a little more but thats just my preference in liking nearly burnt sausage! Will defiantly visit again when in the area.

Stumbled across this place on the way home (nearly missed it though) so thought i would give it a try. We only had drinks and sandwiches, but it was lovely. The presentation was good for a sandwich and the beef was so nice inside. The rest of their menu looked good and we will definitely be trying the sunday carvery. The waitress was very busy but smiling, welcoming and very helpful, the place was clean and well decorated. Slightly above average prices but worth it. Can't wait to try them again.

As far as a carvery goes this was above average, worse bits were roast potatoes not crispy on outside fluffy inside, yorkshire pudding was very crunchy unfortunately, the meats were of good quality and well cooked as were the veg and the gravy wasnt too bad! Service and atmosphere were fine. Sunday roast is an art to get right even at home but it is far harder in a restaurant and a carvery is probably even harder than normal service due to food sitting under lights and in bain marie's. I will grade it as it was a carvery and as such it was pretty good, try and improve your roasties thou chef!
