Great little cafe, incredibly welcoming with a good variety on the menu. Vegetarian/Vegan options available as well as a lovely Sunday roast.

A friend recommended this cafe and I was delighted when I went. Food was freshly prepared and you got that home-cooked, comforting vibe. Staff very helpful too.

One of the best Sunday Roasts I’ve ever had....no scrimping on anything...the flavour from each of the vegetables exploded on your taste buds....the meat was so tender it melted in your mouth....the gravy, stuffing and Yorkshire Pudding added even more to the meal!!!! Didn’t think I’d have space for dessert but once I saw the steam coming from a fresh tray of Apple and BlackBerry crumble I just could not say now.....will just have to starve myself all week!!!! Can not recommend this little Cafe enough from Brunch, Cakes to the famous Sunday Roast!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I regularly use this restaurant to meet friends for lunch,
We are always very impressed with the food and service.
The staff are friendly and attentive, the menu is varied and original.
The decor is very quirky, a courtyard garden is opened in the summer.
Overall a very good experience.

Needed a place to meet and The Red Onion was suggested as a great place to eat and take business. W wanted a relaxing atmosphere and that's what we got. I arrived 10 minutes before the others but the staff were cool with that and I had a nice coffee whilst waiting. 2 x full english and an avocado on toast later and we were very satisfied. Will be one of my shortlist fav places to go now.
