Easy to find from the A1, large car park, easy check in, friendly staff.
Good value for money, the rooms are modern and clean. Iron, ironing board and tea/coffee making facilities.
Next door to a pub that does cheap eats, about a 3min drive / 15min walk to the showground.

For the money, very good stop over. Decent size rooms, very clean, helpful staff, has a bar, breakfast OK (Needs some bacon, very strange only hot items are sausage, beans and scrambled egg). Check in / out very quick, good parking area.

Stayed here for four days on a work trip. The rooms are spotlessly clean, good showers with everything you would need. Breakfasts were also lovely with a choice of beans, eggs, sausages (no bacon). There was fruit, yoghurts, cheeses as well as pastries and small rolls. There was more than enough choice with juices, coffee and teas.
The staff truly are lovely they simply could not do enough for the group that was staying there going over and above what they needed to do. Genuinely friendly lovely people.
The hotel is near a Harvester, also if you walk another way you can find a Tesco and near there is a buffet Chinese, again really tasty. There is a vintage in a very short walk across the road.

Wonderful receptionist on arrival. Checked us in quickly, professionally and made us feel very welcomed. Room was comfortable and clean. Couldn't ask for a better Manager, or bar and restaurant staff. Steaks were perfectly cooked and a good selection on the cheese board. I would definitely stay here again. I stay regularly here, and at other brands. Rooms are excellent, modern, good shower. Staff very friendly. But sort your breakfast out. Rubber eggs, no bacon, instant coffee. You are way off the pace compared to other budget hotels.

Male receptionist grumpy we arrived at 4pm. Very bad smell coming from sink. Breakfast awful burnt scrambled eggs and boring cereals. We payed for it but didnt bother eating! Sofa bed awful can feel springs. Bed also uncomfortable and dipped in the middle and duvets too thin. Was a winters evening i got cold. Not very accommodating expecting 17&10 yr old to sleep together hubby & I had to sleep seperately. Wouldnt visit again and will avoid Holiday Inn anywhere in the UK in future.

I suppose putting on a website means we will never get to discuss in person. Our sofa beds are less than six months old and yours is the first negative comment we received about them.
