Very strong fish smell when entering which would indicate a lack of freshness. Although the 2 girls serving were very lovely, we waited ages for service. We were a pre-booked large group and would have expected extra staff to be laid on. When the drinks finally did arrive, they came a few at a time and we had to ask for the rest of the wine order after a further 20 minutes of waiting. We eventually got our starters after being seated for an hour. When they arrived, there was a further wait for the bread and by this time they were getting cold. It seemed that you could ask for your fish 'anyway' but overdone looked like the 'only way'. The buttered new potatoes were certainly not freshly cooked and absent of anything resembling butter. Very expensive for such small portions, however, in this case, less is more. I most certainly would not recommend eating here - especially not for a special occasion.
