“bit lacking in atmospere”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

I live about a mile from here and visit from time to time but it never seems very busy. As one store opens another seems to close e.g. Bon Marche has just opened but Hobbycraft closes.
Be aware that Van Hage doesn't take RHS vouchers
The food section has some lovely food and sells Gramere products so saves a trip over to Deeping.
There was talk of a supermarket building there but this seems to have died a death

Reviewed 4 August 2014

I loved my first visit to the Garden Park it has everything you need and even things you dont but you now want lol, I bought a cactus i never even knew i wanted one. Food was good and Pets corner is very good with competitive pricing against the main brands.

“Very poor food”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

The Van Haage restaurant is very poor quality. We had almost cold potatoes. I had coronation chicken filling which made the already tepid potato cold. Servers seem totally disinterested. The cafe is pleasant enough though.

“Pleasant Retail Park”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

This retail park is in a nice setting but lacks the footfall.
Been here on many occasions since it opened.
Gave up on the Café in Van Hage for tea & coffee a while ago because of the poor quality on offer. Andronicias is bearable but we tend to go to a Costa after visiting the park.

Van Hage itself is becoming less like a Garden centre and more like an outlet for home wares and high priced garden accessories.
The shops in the rest of the park offer a varied selection of products however some tend to be a little pricey and some offer very good value for money.
There is however going to be a large empty space when Hobby Craft relocate to the Brotherhead Retail Park in early August.
There is word that one of the large supermarkets is going to build a supermarket but no sign of any building work yet.

“Cafe VH”
Reviewed 11 May 2014 via mobile

For Anybody wanting to use the cafe at vanhage I would certainly ignore the last review !!! I visit regularly with my husband to take advantage of the lunch offer £5 for a meal is a bargain and as for the breakfast the queue is so large for a reason ! I recommend this to anyone who visits the garden park to try! Do people not understand that you have a change over between breakfast and lunch ?? Defiantly try for your Own opinion, we had a group lunch which was great the staff really put their all in to the service I would recommend to any one !!
