We booked online, very cheap for a nights accommodation. Clean, comfy and spacious rooms and lovely pub next door with good atmosphere and great food. We stayed here to meet up with family and to do parkrun on Saturday morning at Ferry Meadows Country Park which was right next to the hotel, perfect location for us! Would stay here again.

Stayed here for one night and it was ideal for our stay. Staff at reception were very helpful. Plenty of car parking available, but if there was a negative, then the adjoining restaurant was fairly expensive for what was on offer. However restaurant staff were also very pleasant.

Stayed here for 3 nights for work purposes week commencing 18th November 2013 and experienced excellent customer service both from the hotel staff and at the Granary Beefeater next door. Was made to feel very welcome and comfortable from the moment of my arrival to when i checked out 3 nights later. Staff at the Granary were also very attentive and friendly which was really important as i was travelling and dining alone. My room was on the ground floor and yes I could hear footsteps in the early hours of the morning from the guests in the room above, as well as guests not being considerate to others by letting their doors slam shut every time they went in or out of their rooms, however I don't see how the hotel's team can do much about inconsiderate guests - i think rather its a case of guests having a bit more respect and consideration for others who may be staying there. On the whole, yes i would stay here again when im next working in Peterborough purely because of the excellent service and friendliness of the staff they have working there, and for the way in which i was made to feel at ease being a solo traveller.

Let me make one thing clear before I carry on. The Premier Inn hotel is fantastic and so is all the staff. It is the Granary Beefeater next door where breakfast is served which is now a major problem for anyone with mobility problems.

My wife and I have been stopping here once a month for the past 3 years but never again as since our last visit the location of the breakfast set up has been moved into what was the only place in the Granary where mobility challenged guests like myself could sit and eat due to the multiple levels there.
All respect to the duty manager who did his best to accommodate us the best he could in that area by setting up a small table directly behind the breakfast table. It was this or eat off my lap in front of the toilets. This was far from ideal and made me feel like disabled people are no longer welcome, that I was a dirty little secret that had to be hidden away from sight and not to be with the rest of the population.
When I asked why it had been moved to the new location I was told that the NEW general manager wants it there regardless.

So in conclusion you now have 3 options for your breakfast. 1. Eat in a corner like a dirty little secret. 2. Eat off your lap outside the toilets or 3. Don’t have breakfast there and wait till 9am and have it in the garden centre next door.

Although this is one of the older Premier Inns, still using door keys, with no lift and no air conditioning, it is nevertheless as comfortable and welcoming as anything more up to date. The room was a good size with a large fan in case of overheating, although in October this was unlikely... The proximity of the country park was a bonus we didn't realise we'd got until we arrived and went for a stroll, my husband following the sound of a train hooter, which turned out to be the Nene Valley Railway... We ate at The Granary a couple of times and the food was excellent, but this is a big restaurant so expect to wait a while at busy times... With the centre of Peterborough just a short drive this is the perfect hotel for a weekend away.

Room Tip: Rooms upstairs at the back have a good view over the golf course next door.
