Have eaten here twice and would always return when in Harrogate. Spacious small restaurant with short menu of good range, some imaginative dishes, decent wine and attentive but not intrusive service.

Just wonderful. The service is fantastic, water is topped up without asking. We went at lunchtime and the food was just lovely. We all selected off the specials menu and the it was just delicious. The sticky toffee pudding was totally divine. I would also like to congratulate them on the wine list. Keep up the good work.

We were visiting Harrogate for the day, and had just about exhausted ourselves around the Montpelier area and the various historic Spa sites when we realised it was getting late for lunch. Happily we found ourselves outside Quantro, ( very close to the main Crown Hotel on Royal Parade) and they were still serving lunch.
Fabulous food at ridiculously good prices.
We opted for the 2 course lunch at £9.00 pp. Salmon fishcakes benefited hugely from the chilli mayonnaise instead of the ubiquitous sweet chilli sauce served almost everywhere. Billed as a starter it was fairly hefty, and I feared that my lunchtime appetite would not stretch to the main course. Fortunately I was wrong and had sufficient room to do justice to the Thai chicken with stir fry vegetables and egg noodles, while my Wife enjoyed her salmon with butternut squash risotto.
We would normally research in advance and I dread wandering around an unfamiliar town or city hoping to alight upon an inviting looking venue and menu. On this occasion, I am very glad that we arrived with no plans and struck lucky.
Unpretentious food, very well cooked, service by charming and not overly attentive staff - all at very very very low price for the high quality involved.

We have been loyal customers of Quantro for many years and always enjoy peaceful and relaxing meals here with attentive, but not intrusive staff. We have felt recently however that the menu hasn't been as good as previously. However, having recently changed the menu it's back on top form. Beautiful flavours very cleverly combine to give a wonderful gastronomic experience! We also love the fact that the restaurant is usually free from children! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely restaurant to couples.

Without the reviews, you would never guess that this little restaurant with such an ordinary frontage would be producing and servicing such fantastic food. The a la carte prices are towards the higher end of what you may expect to pay, but this is more than justified by the quality of the food. The staff are welcoming and attentive but not overly so. The wine list presents a good choice at typical restaurant prices. The restaurant was full when we visited but was not too noisy and the meal was very enjoyable. We will definitely be visiting again the next time we are in Harrogate. I think this and the other 5 star reviews say it all.
