Marie couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful during our 1 night stay. Lovely decor, comfy beds and nice little extras like bottled water and toiletries. Very close to town centre which meant no taxis required. Breakfast very tasty and of excellent quality. Would be my first choice were I to stay in Harrogate again.

Spent a week after Xmas in Harrogate and based on previous tripadvisor comments booked Scotia House.
What is left to say after previous reviewers comments? Everything from furnishing, decor, cleanliness, toiletries & welcome tray were worthy of any 5star hotel! The breakfast is to die for and is so beautifully presented. Ross and Marie are perfect hosts with lots of good recommendations for places to eat and visit.
Location is idea and only 5 minutes walk from town with many eating options.
A great stay and highly recommended

Room Tip: Room 2 looks great, double bed and sofa in sitting area

Well situated for Harrogate town centre and attractions. Small family run B&B; newly refurbished. Rooms spotlessly clean and comfortable; also quiet despite central location. Very good breakfast provided.

We stayed 1 night at scotia house harrogate on 1/12/13. This b and b was beautiful, service excellent , decor exceptional. The king suite was better than most 4 star hotels I have stayed in. Would highly reccomend this. Breakfast outstanding. What a gem. The owner was a lovely genuine person.

Room Tip: Choose king suite

We stayed overnight on route back from Northumberland. This is a very friendly bed and breakfast within easy walking distance from the centre of Harrogate right opposite the International conference centre. Excellent breakfast. The owners were extremely helpful and gave good advice about restaurants etc. If we go to Harrogate again, I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic place to stay in Harrogate .Ideally situated within town opposite conference centre. Absolutely immaculate accommodation, warm spacious room in a friendly welcoming environment. Breakfast was very generous and delicious.Advice given by owners on restaurants ,tourism, shops, parking etc, without prompt and without being over-bearing. Cannot praise enough, you will love it. Would recommend and we would definitely use ourselves again.
