“Traditional Italian cooking”
Reviewed 27 August 2014

Here is a family owned Italian restaurant that is hard to fault.
The décor is bright and trendy, yet tasteful. The staff are very friendly and experienced. The cooking is expert and generous. The prices are very reasonable. The Awards speak for themselves.
We took advantage of the pre 7.00pm fixed menu which was tremendous value. The efficient service can seem a little rushed, which may have been a repercussion of the early offer.
This is not chic, bijou, ultra modern dining - just good value, expert, traditional Italian cuisine.
Recommended.

Good food, service and atmosphere. Was slightly surprised to find that a service charge was added to the bill.

“Good food and great attitude!”
Reviewed 24 August 2014

Our large party of 26-ish booked with about four hours' notice and was welcomed with open arms. The staff were very friendly and ebullient - this is a great place if you're looking for a fun evening out. They had a set menu prepared, which we expected being a large group, but they also allowed us to mix-and-match with the a la carte. The food was of good quality and plentiful (I had the duck tagliatelle with juniper), and served not just promptly but also pretty much simultaneously and it came out at about £25 per head inc service and wine (the house wines are good!) and we really had a smashing time. Not a single complaint from any of us.

“Great value buzzing Italian near town centre”
Reviewed 20 August 2014

Spotted this whilst driving up Cheltenham something-or-other towards the theatre. Parked quite close and my 95 year old mother managed to walk there successfully. Friendly attentive waiters. Excellent "Early Bird" menus meant that 4 of us dined for approx. £45. I had lovely thick tomato soup followed by chicken stroganoff - both filling and very tasty. Others enjoyed pizzas and pasta dish. Walking back to car noticed other Italian restaurant boards indicating much higher prices. My sister (from Harrogate) tells me that Vivido has won awards - haven't checked this aspect yet.
