My husband and I stayed at the Alamah for 3 nights in June. Judy and Sue made us very welcome and we were able to check in earlier than the usual 5.00 p.m. which was very helpful.
Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable and we had lots of storage and hanging space for our clothes. The breakfasts were really good and freshly made and kept us going for much of the day.
The location was ideal being just a short walk to the restaurants and shops.
We would certainly recommend the Alamah and would not hesitate to stay again should we return to Harrogate. Thank you Judy and Sue.

We stayed in the alamah 2 weeks ago in half term with our 5 year old. We received a very warm welcome from judy and sue who could not have looked after us better. The breakfasts (especially the scrambled egg) were fab and our daughter liked the relaxed environment where she could play with her sticker book while we has one more slice of toast and a cup of tea! Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the location was perfect, an easy walk to great shops, the spa or valley gardens, the best park in the world according to our daughter. We will definitely return.

Room Tip: There is a large family room

We are really pleased you enjoyed Harrogate, particularly "the best park in the world"! It was good to meet your family and it is always lovely when there are children in the house. Despite the weather you managed to pack so many places into your stay and it was really interesting hearing all about them. Thank you for reviewing the Alamah so positively and we hope you will return one day.

My wife a I have been extremely lucky to find the best Bed and Breakfast venue in the UK.
I am slightly disabled and have special needs and Judy and Sue are very understanding and helpful in making sure I am comfortable and have what I need. Our room was spotless and very spacious and comfortable and contained all that you would want with tea, coffee and hot chocolate available in the room. We have been guests at Alamah Guest House on a number of occasions and always receive a hearty welcome.
This is undoubtedly home from home and the breakfast is exceptional. Whenever we return to Harrogate, Alamah Guest House will be our first port of call.
Undoubtedly the best in the business. Chris and Lynette Backwell

Booked this as a birthday surprise for my husband and chose the Alamah based on the already good reviews it had received and how right they were. What a fab B&B. Judy and Sue are probably two of the nicest people you will ever have the good fortune to meet and they made our stay excellent, from the very warm and friendly greeting on our arrival to their serenading my husband with happy birthday as they brought in his breakfast - birthday candle and all...Brilliant. The location is perfect for exploring. Our room was spotless with the best stocked hospitality basket I've ever seen. Breakfast was a delight - what a choice. Going to Harrogate ? stay at the Alamah

We booked this break last year and chose the Alamah based on the good reviews it had received. The B&B is the best I have stayed in and the breakfast was really good - far better than we've had in standard British hotel chains. It's within a 10 minute walk of the town. so it's in an ideal spot to explore.

Our room was spotless with a comfortable bed, flat screen tv and a well stocked hospitality basket containing biscuits and various teas, coffee, hot chocolate etc.

If we come back to Harrogate we will definitely book the Alamah again and won't be looking anywhere else because of the lovely personal touches. Plus Judy and Sue are lovely people and hosts.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back may be a little quieter.

We have stayed at the Alamah many times but this is our first review. When we find somewhere brill we like to keep it a secret but we know this isn't good for business!
When visiting Harrogate for The Spring Flower Show we would simply not stay anywhere else. As all the reviews say .....warm welcome, fab breakfast, spotless bedrooms, availability for parking, wi fi, (which was great for me this year as I had brought my lap top) we need all of that and probably take it for granted! We come back every year because my Mum loves Judy ;-)
Judy and Sue you are by far the most warm hearted and genuinely caring ladies. My Mum needed that little extra TLC this time round and it was there in abundance. You have all the right ingredients for success. Thank you so much for EVERYTHING. x
