We really enjoyed Sartaj during our 6 month stay in Harrogate. The food was aways very good. The cheese naan could not be beat! But the one odd thing about dining at this restaurant (even on the weekend evenings) is that we were usually the only ones there. Very strange indeed. We saw several people getting take away though which was encouraging. I can honestly understand why nobody dined in though... the manager burned VERY strong incense that gave me headaches, the severs were a bit too attentive and smothering since they were probably bored. Once we discovered Jinnah just across the road we were hooked. Jinnah blended both GREAT indian food and a very pleasant and relaxing ambiance. I always joked with my husband that we should order some takeaway cheese naan from Sartaj and then head over to Jinnah for the rest :)
