We went with my family to this lovely French style Bistro. First the service, Nicky our waitress, was friendly and extremely helpful, we shall return if only to see her smiling face. The menu was extremely varied with a very French flair and indeed we were all spoiled for choice.
My starter of lightly curried crab meat was really mouth-watering and the description did not lie, the curry was subtle and the serving absolutely delicious. My main course of Rib-eye was great, simple, cooked medium rare with the accent on rare and was superb. The fries and accompaniments were also great.
I could not manage a desert but others in the party could and they looked very tasty. All in all, with a very nice wine list and coffees and liqueurs a good evening. Try a Thursday this seems to be a great value day. We shall return. It was my birthday and the complimentary Calvados for me was very welcome!
