We stayed for one night here and I have to say the vast majority of our stay was first class. We arrived two hours earlier than check in time but our room was ready and the reception staff were very efficient and friendly. I paid 109 pounds b&b for one of the Thai rooms. Large bathroom with seperate shower and bath and the decor was lovely. Heavy dark wood furniture and a huge bed with the teddy chocolates robes etc. I did not find the website misleading in respect of these extras and was aware that you had to upgrade your room to get these extras. Did not eat there so cannot comment on restaurant however breakfast buffet was great albeit the restaurant was toasting hot with no fresh air circulating as in basement. My only criticism was that I became very thirsty during the night and after draining room of the complimentary bottled water, decided I needed more. Spent a good ten mins trying to get an answer for room service, in the end my husband got dressed (4am) and went down. They brought two large cokes and a large bottle of water and charged us 13 pounds. Scandalous. Cheek to include tray charge of £3 under the circs. Nevertheless I will return if I am in the area again and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Over the years I have come to expect just standard from hotels and it's so great to find a hotel this good.

Stayed at The Kimberely with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary.. The executive room was very comfortable and well appointed, and the wine , chocolates, robes and teddy were lovely little additional touches. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice available. We ate in the bistro in the evening and the food and service were excellent there too. Would definitely recommend the hotel if you are planning a trip to Harrogate.

Spent 2 long weekends staying in executive twin at rear of hotel. Generaly spacious room with good facilities and 'extras'. Quiet aspect. Despite overlooking car park there were good views with woods and hills beyond. Service at breakfast was good, though toast was always soft unless I made a point of asking for very crisp! Excellent hot buffet.
We had one meal in hotel Bistro on 1st night -good despite rather small portions and minimal veg!
Hotel an easy stroll down to Conference Centre and Concert Hall with Restaurants and Gardens only a little further. We love Harrogate and would certainly relish a return to the Kimberley.

Stayed here for a three day break with my wife, we had an executive room which was on a special offer. We had booked for BB & Dinner. though BB would have been fine as the breakfast was very good, and there was a very good choice of eating places for snacks, and also restaurants in Harrogete.
The Kimberley Hotel Restaurant served good meals with a very good choice.
The room was one of the new ones built in the annex at the rear of the hotel. There was also plenty of parking space at the rear as well.
Bathroom was very big, with one of the biggest baths I have ever seen.
Staff were all very helpfull and attentive, especially in the restaurant.
** Note ** There was no mini bar-fridge in the room, bear this in mind if you like a nightcap.
Walking distance to shopping 10mins.
Thouroughly enjoyed our 3 day break, and would stay here again.

Booked an executive room in the new block and it wasn't disappointing, very comfortable bed, plenty of space. Would like to suggest though that in line with the fact its classed as an executive room the reflect this by having a mini bar in the room, also, the superb bathroom (one of the best we have seen), modern and spacious with free toiletries was a nice touch, only one little moan, why use plastic cups in an executive bathroom? Glass would be nice to reflect the standard of the room.
Staff excellent and friendly, bistro dinner was wonderful as was the service.
Noticed that some guest have made comments about the limited car park space, yes, it's not big enough and it's a bit tight, but please don't let this minor issue stop you visiting this hotel, we will definately be giving it another visit.
