Revisited this hotel after a one night travelling stay 2 years ago. Still received a good welcome and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The evening restaurant menu was limited but good quality.

spent 4 nights here and then had to move to the nearby Premier Inn... (As I'd booked that stay first) Cannot believe the difference in quality, yet the price was similar! Amazing building at Cedar Court with heaps of history, with great friendly staff and really well managed! Impeccably clean! And superb Breakfast! Only real negative was the patchy WiFi but after going to the Other hotel the difference in quality and value was plain to see... Why anyone would choose a bland, basic nothing special hotel like Premier with its mass produced tasteless breakfast over this place must have rocks in their head! The Yorkshire Tea & Local Yorkshire Biscuits in the rooms at Cedar Court and other local produce at breakfast was a really nice touch and would definately stay here again! It was soo good I ended up going back for another stay the following week and a special thanks to Natalia on reception for great service and sorting things with an early checkin after a very long flight from Australia... Will definately be back & highly recommend!

We stayed for one night at this hotel which is ok but nothing special. We had a small room on the ground floor which overlooked the car park but had a nice bathroom, very noisy plumbing and excessive door slamming did not make for a very enjoyable stay. The breakfast buffet was average, the cooked food was not too bad and the usual pastries and cereal were available. No tongs provided for the bread and pastries which is not very hygienic and steer clear of the orange juice which was awful. Not too bad for a one night no frills stay, just don't expect too much!!

Just returned from Cedar Court. Found the hotel very good value for money but found bar and restaurant prices quite expensive. Quality of rooms and service could not be faulted nor could the choice of the buffet breakfast, which was extremely good. Location superb, 10 minute flat walk into centre of Harrogate. Centrally situated for exploring the surrounding areas. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back could be slightly noisy due to them overlooking the rear reception area.

A clean, tidy and efficient hotel within walking distance of the city center. Very good value and a good base. Breakfast on a busy Saturday was poor with most things over cooked apart from the under cooked croissant. To be fair it was much improved the following day.
