“Cosy pied-a-terre in Harrogate”
Reviewed 24 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

Came to Harrogate for a show at the International Exhibition Centre and to meet friends; didn't fancy a hotel so this seemed a perfect alternative. It was very comfortable, warm and quiet. Well furnished and equipped, and extremely convenient for town centre. A great find for a winter trip.

We stayed here for 9 days because of proximity to family and it was perfect. Its even better than the photos and is spotlessly clean, light and bright. There are many extra touches to make you feel quite at home. We felt as though we were staying in a friend's flat while he was away. The lock box made key collection and return easy. Its 2 minutes to the train and bus station and only 3 minutes to the centre of town and a 24 hour supermarket. One of the nicest holiday apartment we have ever had.

Good wee apartment for a stay in Harrogate only thing missing was the weather! The apartment owner couldn't have been more helpful during our stay.

“Nice, cozy apartment for a small group”
Reviewed 28 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

I stayed at this flat with my husband and small daughter (3 year old) for 5 nights. The owner met us at the flat and showed us in. He was very nice and friendly.

The flat is a basement apartment so you need to go down a short flight of stairs to enter. Inside and out it is very clean. The apartment itself is decorated tastefully with lovely furniture. The only issue I could take with the decor is the light colored sofas are a bit worn looking. They could use a replacement, but I understand this isn't always feasible. Other than that, the surroundings were very, very nice.

The flat is small and cozy. It was the perfect size for our small family, but I can see how it might get a bit cramped if you have more than 3 or 4 people in your group. The bed was very comfortable. The owners put a separate small bed down in the bedroom for our daughter, and it was very comfortable too according to her...she slept like a rock!

The bathroom was nice and clean. Everything was modern and worked well. I knew there was no bath - only a shower - when I booked, but I was surprised to see the shower head was stationary and mounted on the ceiling. It made things interesting when it came to my daughter's bath time. Thankfully we survived, and eventually got used to it!

The apartment is fitted with everything you might need for a long or short stay. Blow dryer, washer, info on the area, etc.

Quick walk to the supermarket and city center. Parking was free thanks to the pass we were given by the owner & a space was always available (we may have been lucky!).

My main gripe - and this has little to do with apartment itself - is that construction was being done in or around the building and woke us up early everyday we were there. It was so loud we could hear the handsaws and hammers! Thankfully, we needed to be up early anyway, but wow I felt bad for the people who lived in the area who had to live with that.

Overall, I'd highly recommend this apartment if you're looking for a lovely, clean place that's reasonably priced and near the city center.
