Three course lunch for a tenner and a menu filled with local produce. My finace had an amazing hot smoked mackerel salad on roasted sweet potato followed by Toulouse sausage and mash with a delightful lemon meringue pie for pudding. In fact it was so lovely it was the first lemon meringue pie I have ever liked. I had the beer battered mushrooms which were lovely if a little small in portion size, followed by Seared chicken on tomato and herb mash with sweet pepper sauce and green beans and then a warm Plum and almond frangipane.
We will be back :)
