We have frequented the queens head many times over 20 years, it can't be faulted. The menu is your normal pub grub but then specials boards give you that bit extra choice. Everything is always cooked to perfection, tasty & fresh, and many times using local produce. Louise & her staff are a joy & can't be faulted. Good range of beers & wines, plenty of parking & not like your normal village pub where many times your made to feel out of place by the locals, everyone is welcome, keep up the good work Louise & staff!!!

We stayed overnight sat into sun with a couple of friends. The welcome was warm and the room was lovely, spacious and clean with more than the usual obligatory 2 tea bags-2 sachets of coffee etc. We had our evening meal there which we all enjoyed very much and then the breakfast next morning which again was faultless. We all agreed we would stay again.

My girlfriend and I often come here with family and friends and we are never let down. The menu is varied with good sized portions and the steak pie is especially good! The staff are very friendly and attentive. Good atmosphere and set in a lovely location.

Called in today for Sunday lunch. Typical local pub offering lovely food, great service and friendly staff. What more could you wish for. Highly recommend it. Good sized car park too. Well worth travelling that little bit far out of the way.

We stayed here with friends 2 weeks ago. Having been to the pub several times before for food we decided to try it for a night.Made to feel so welcome by Louise and her family, and the food and beer......superb. Will definitely return, if they'll have us?
