We've been regulars at the Cheung Won buffet for about nine months and have never had a bad meal. The food is freshly cooked in small quantities and regularly replenished. There is a good variety of starters, from chicken and sweetcorn soup through shredded duck in pancakes, prawn toast, chicken satay, seaweed, lovely delicacies and then the main courses are well cooked and include chicken curry, beef in black bean sauce, sweet and sour chicken, some wonderful prawn dishes and also a number of vegetarian options. There are also sushi dishes included in the price. The puds include jellies, icecream, lovely little dishes of fresh fruit salad, baked custard and fresh banana fritters. Less than £30 for two including an alcoholic drink apiece. Highly recommended. Also open lunchtimes ie Sundays with slightly smaller menu and cheaper price. The staff are very friendly and hospitable.
