We found this delightful cottage through Tripadvisor. We were greeted on arrival by the owner and shown round an exquisite upside down cottage. The large bedroom on the ground floor was decorated beautifully, we later found that the bed was extremely comfortable. Upstairs is a fully equipped kitchen and a large lounge with two sofas. The whole cottage is a home from home and we recommend it whole heartedly. There is plenty to do and see in the area and we recommend a couple of hours at the Nidderdale Museum in Pateley Bridge. Thank you Cath and Dave for a wonderful break, we will return.

We stayed at Hollybeck Stables for a short break. It was a very comfortable cottage with everything you need provided. It is ideally placed for the many attractions the Yorkshire Dales have to offer. We were made to feel most welcome by the owner and nothing was too much trouble. Lots of information about the area was provided which is a great help for planning your days out. Would highly recommend this cottage and hope to return for a longer visit soon.

Just completed the long journey home from North Yorkshire to Kent but would do it all again to stay at Holly Beck Stables. A comfortable, peaceful and beautifully presented self catering cottage. The location is excellent with easy access to so many places and with the wonderful Dales countryside on the doorstep. The owners, Kath and David, who live next door are such nice people who quietly ensure that their guests are welcomed and their comfort is ensured. If you are looking for an "escape to the country" in the Yorkshire Dales, Holly Beck Cottage is ideal. We used it as a base to travel to York and the Yorkshire moors but it is close to Harrogate and, on Kath's recommendation, we had dinner almost every night at a great pub very close by. The cottage itself is spacious, beautifully furnished, and extremely comfortable. It was those little extra touches which impressed. Everything was provided in abundance, kitchen equipment, laundry, coat hangers, toiletries. Dave even hooked up a clothes line for us. Kath and Dave made us feel very welcome but were also unobtrusive hosts. Just wished we could have stayed longer: for a holiday rental it was the best ever.

This is the nicest holiday rental we have ever stayed in.The cottage itself has been beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated.
Every detail has been carefully thought out and guests have everything they could possibly need.

My wife and I spent two weeks in Hollybeck House Cottage this June. This is without a doubt the best cottage we have ever stayed in during our ten years of travel. The cottage was spotless. The bedding so beautiful we didn't want to get out of bed. All the amenities were Molton Brown. The kitchen was well organised. Our hosts left us a welcome basket of food, fresh flowers and after one week our bedding was changed and more fresh flowers and confectionery left. David and Kath are truly two of the most beautiful people you could ever meet. Don't bother going anywhere else. Hollybeck House is in a great location only five minutes from Ripley with great little shops for all your needs. From two Australians.
