“Excellent B&B in good location”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

We stayed here when visiting friends who lived in Harrogate over the Easter bank holiday. With a number of places being booked we were recommended this place through mutual friends and could not have been more happy.

The rooms are very clean and modern with luxury fixtures, fitting and upholstery and free wifi which had a very fast connection. We could not check in to our room until 3:00 pm but arrived at 1:30 pm. This was not a problem; we left our bags in the car but were given a room key for when we were ready as were going into town for the afternoon regardless.

The breakfast was excellent; lovely spread of cereals and fruit and the cooked breakfast options were plentiful.

This is a great location for both the town center and the conference buildings; would most certainly stay here again when we are back in Harrogate.

Lovely Hotel, great service and fab breakfast albeit with coffee meant for surfacing the road!
A little tardis inside with plenty of rooms however not another guest could be heard once inside room. We would definitely stay again.

I stayed at this lovely b&b for 3 nights and was delighted with my choice. The room was lovely with top notch facilities (not least the fab complementary toiletries), superb veggie breakfast and very attentive, friendly staff. Can thoroughly recommend. My trip was for business however will be nagging my other half for another stay soon to explore the surrounding area.

I stayed here five nights. The accommodation was very comfortable, really clean with nice design, friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was a real treat. The location is very good for both the conference center and the town center too.

We had a one night break in Harrogate on the 27 March 2014 and chose the Grafton based on previous TA reviews. Lovely hotel, nice spotless and well designed rooms, loads of hot water and everything you could want from a short break. Free parking outside as well and short 10 minute walk into town. Breakfast top rate with good quality produce. Everything faultless and trouble free.

Room Tip: We had room number 2 and although there was no view for one night break who cares. Really nice room...

As regular visitors to Harrogate, having stayed in many of the varied hotels, myself and hubby thought we would try a night away at The Grafton for my impending birthday. Well the reviews were spot on, this place is fabulous. Our room was beautifully decorated, spotless and quiet and the breakfast was delicious, of good quality and choice. I followed granola with 'cooked to order' smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast (beautifully cooked) and the waitress even came to check that the egg was cooked to my liking. Hubby equally enjoyed his full English. We did find the mattress in our room a little on the firm side for us but its difficult to cater for everyone in that respect. All in all though it was a fantastic stay close enough to walk to the town centre within 10 mins. We shall return!
