We haven't eaten in the HDV Bistro for a while but we will certainly be back, from the minute we arrived at HDV until we left it was a nice experience, the staff were just great, especially Steve the Bistro Manager who just couldn't do enough for us but without being "in your face"
After a couple of drinks at the bar which were served promptly and at the right temperature we were led to a really nice table overlooking the whole Bistro complete with a big jug of tap water with ice without asking was a nice gesture.
I had scallops in garlic butter, my wife prawn in advocado, my main was locally bred Yorkshire Sirloin, chunky chips and cauliflower cheese and my wife, Sea Bream, Steve chose a fabulous glass of Malbec to go with my meal.
Each course was cooked to perfection, it was really very, very good with absolutely no faults.
The Bistro atmosphere was fine for a midweek meal, I would highly recommend this place, ask for Steve, he will certainly look after you, the bill wasn't bad either.
We will be backMore
