“Super Stay”

We had a lovely one night stay at Number 27 in Mulberry Room. The room had everything we needed, including a small fridge which was very useful for chilling that bottle of wine! We didn't make use of the sauna, but the shower was very powerful and spacious. We were made to feel welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, especially the Craster kipper! It was an easy walk into town, and we left our car there on our departure for a few hours whilst we explored a little more, which was no problem for Judy despite her having an unbelievably busy weekend with the Tour de France guests and diners.

Room Tip: Mulberry Room is at the front, but the noise level wasn't particularly noticeable despite us hav...

Lovely B&B. Stayed in Apricot room. Really comfy bed, quality bedding, huge bath. Lots of bottled water provided which was great as we were at a conference. Scrummy homemade cakes AND shortbread in the room every day. Great warm welcome and helpful hosts. Easy walking distance to town and plenty of space to park, though a very steep incline to the drive - wouldn't get a sports car up there! Breakfasts were yummy too, lots of choice, different fresh fruit and preserves daily. Definitely recommend this place! Fridge hummed at night, I found it annoying first night but got used to it. My husband found it strangely comforting!

Room Tip: Apricot room is at the back of the house so less traffic noise. I didn't hear traffic at all and...

We spent two nights at number 27 Harrogate. It is an ideal location within easy walking distance of the town centre. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent made with high quality produce. There is also delicious homemade cake provided in your room. It was scrummy! If you want a quality guest house this is it. Judy and Brian most welcoming and they are extremely helpful. Book it and you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: Choose either room the standard of both is very high.

Stayed for one night in the Apricot room whilst attending the Home & Gift fair. Ideally situated very close to convention centre and Harrogate town centre. Fabulous host Judy was very welcoming and allowed me to arrive early and park my car on site at 9am! The Apricot room was perfect...great size room with a sumptuous double bed with crisp white cotton bedding (deepest slumber I'd had for a good while!). Huge en suite (bathroom) with giant bath and separate shower cubicle. Fresh baked cake and sinful shortbread waiting to be eaten after a long day at the fair. Judy recommended and even booked a table for me, at the local Thai restaurant which was superb. Breakfast feast (chosen the evening before) was extremely fresh and well cooked and taken in the lovely relaxing dining room. Highly recommend for business or leisure as Harrogate is such a beautiful place to visit. Hope to return next year.

Room Tip: Only 2 rooms available but Apricot was perfect...I believe the other room has it's own sauna!

Stayed for 2 nights starting on 30/6/14 and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Number 27. Judy and Brian were excellent hosts and did everything they could to make us welcome, including a special trip out to buy decaff coffee when we expressed a preference. The Apricot room was everything we needed....clean, tidy and well equipped. The food at breakfast was varied and excellent quality. I wish we had had more time to enjoy time to enjoy all the luxuries of the stay. Many thanks.

We stayed at the end of May for two nights in the Mulberry room and wish we could've stayed longer!! Had a wonderful time. The hosts were very welcoming and so helpful (especially with it being our first time in harrogate). Our room was beautiful, having the sauna in there and that fabulous shower was great. We had gorgeous homemade cake in our room and a fridge stocked with milk and water. Breakfast had everything you could want. Location is great, just a short walk from the centre. I've raved about this place to all my friends. We'll definitely be returning!!

What a great find. Found this on web and it lived up to all its great reports. Stayed in the Apricot room. Had everything we needed. Very comfortable. Bathroom large and spacious. Home made cakes each day - great with a cup of tea after a day out and about. Small fridge with bottles of water and FRESH milk, not your little cartons here. Breakfast sets you up for the day and so much choice - all presented in a fabulous setting. Off street parking, which is a must in Harrogate as parking there is at a minimum. Plenty of information about local places of interest and places to eat in Harrogate. Stayed here to attend local conference which was 10 mins walk from exhibition centre. Will be returning next year to sample these delights again. Thank you to our welcoming hosts.
