Plus points:- Room and bathroom were both very clean, bed was comfy and there was a bar and a restaurant on site if you needed to use them - although we would recommend a trip to Betty's instead. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided and the hotel was able to lend me an iron and ironing board.

However, I thought that this hotel was far too expensive for the product - we paid £94 for one night; a rate which did not include breakfast. This price would perhaps be reasonable if the hotel were right in the centre but that is not the case. The bathrooms had a body wash and soap dispenser but no shampoo dispenser (I did not bring shampoo with me thinking there would definitely be some), the TV controler did not work and there was no telephone in the room. The room was also rather hot and stuffy as there was no aircontitioning and the windows could only be opened a crack for safety reasons.

I don't think I will be joining Lenny Henry on the bed again!

This was a very modern and very clean Premier Inn. The room was clean and spacious with en-suite facilities. It was also not too hot (which I have experiences at some other Premier Inns) despite it being quite a warm sunny day.

The pub joining the hotel was also very nice and modern; we had our evening meal there which was very nice and reasonably priced. Breakfast was also served in the pub on an all you can eat basis which and was again very good. I would definitely use this Premier Inn again if staying in this area.

Arrived on Friday evening and were greeted by a friendly and helpful receptionist by the name of Shelly. Booked in for evening meal and morning papers. The room itself was neat and clean as was the en-suite. The room was at the rear of the Inn and was therefore very quiet. Just a short walk to Hornbeam Park Railway station with frequent trains to Harrogate York and Leeds.

Having read mixed reviews on this hotel we made a reservation for 1 night, to extend our stay in Harrogate. On arrival we were made very welcome by the lady on reception who gave us the information needed for our stay, plus commented on our 3 month old son.
Our room was big, clean and was as expected from a Premier Inn stay.
We discovered in the morning that there wasn't a phone in the room but we were told that due to the recent refurbishments, there a few rooms that were missing the phones due to differing sized connectors. The free half an hour wifi usage was also welcomed.
Overall a very pleasant stay.

Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and informative. We had a problem with our room being too hot to sleep on the first of our three nights stay and mentioned it the following morning. It was taken seriously and sorted out very professionally.

Hornbeam Park Station is at the rear of the hotel car park (although we couldn't hear a thing from our rear room in the hotel) and with a half hour service for the 3 minute journey into the centre of Harrogate (fare £1.60), its not worth using the car. Harrogate station is right next to the bus station where we got a bus for the short journey to Harlow Carr Gardens and if you ask the bus driver for a Heritage Pass, entry into the gardens is half price.

We would recommend a stay at this hotel and will definitely be back again in the future to enjoy more of Harrogate.

Premier Inn at Harrogate was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, chatty and helpful.
We had a problem with our room due to it being above the smoking area at the back of the hotel. We complained and it was taken seriously and sorted out very professionally. I would reccommend a stay here anytime.

The Premier Inn Harrogate is excellent. Spotlessly clean with spacious well equipped rooms (just missing a safe) and in a quiet location on the residential south side of town. Superb breakfast with a cold buffet but hot food cooked to order (for less £9!). The restaurant is a “Table Table” property which had a brilliant offer of 1/3 off your food bill before 18:30 and half price second drinks – fantastic value and good quality. For a change - just across the car park is an excellent Italian Restaurant - Al Bivio.
