Disappointing service all round. When I arrived I waited at reception for about 5 minutes before I went to the restauarant to ask a waitress to find someone who could check me in - there was no apology for the delay just a veery perfunctory check in. I was booked a table in the restaurant without asking if the brasserie would have been sufficient. The restaurant service was very slow - about 30 minutes before my meal arrived - this is fine if you have company, but as a lone traveller I want to be served as quickly as possible. £10 burger was ok, but not special and was not served with chips, just a small wilted salad.
Breakfast was as frustrating, a long wait for my order for coffee and toast to be taken, then the toast arrived but there was no butter, so another delay for that. I also had to ask for marmalade. Not impressive.
The room was small, but comfortable and sufficient for my stay, but offered little more than a travelodge apart from swanky molten brown products.
I wouldn't stay here again.More
