Spent the night of 17/11/2012 at this lovely BB, Room very comfortable, Bathroom very clean and strong powerful shower. Very handy for shopping or night out. Only downside was the cooked part of the breakfast in the morning, took a very long time to come, which wouldn't have been a problem if it had been well cooked. Unfortunately this was not the case, fried egg and bacon over cooked and Hash Brown raw in the middle. Such a shame!!.

Very friendly welcome, great location, short stroll to town Center, and even shorter stroll to kings rd for a big choice of resturants( recommend the BED resturant) good sized room , spotless , and warm, and to top it off, a cracking breakfast in the morning.

I had a very pleasant stay at Murray Hse. The host was very welcoming and accommodating - the customer service was on par with visiting a dear friend or relative who wanted you to have a comfortable stay.

Its in a good location to the town centre and the Turkish baths, with the conference centre a short walk away.

The room was lovely and warm and was given choice of breakfast to choose from. After reading the reviews, I agree that this establishment is a hospitable place and would be happy to return if I planned to be in the area.

A lovely old property within walking distance of the station unless you are heavily laden. The hosts are friendly and nothing Is too much trouble. I stay there every time I head up North and have never been disappointed.
The breakfast options are varied and whatever you choose you will enjoy. Thoroughly recommended.

We have just returned from a two night break and stayed at Murray House. The hosts could not have been more helpful. Really nice people. (We had a wee problem with the shower door which was fixed immediately and with lots of apologies although it wasn't their fault oh- and the showers ARE great as previously stated)). Our room was spotless, lovely thick fluffy towels-unusual in a B&B! The bed was huge, really comfy and lovely quality bedding. Location was great-5 mins walk to town centre. Free parking permits saved lots of time looking for a space, so this is a really nice touch. Great choice at breakfast and cooked to perfection. Would def recommend if you're going to Harrogate then stay here!

We booked this fantastic B&B just the night before we visited Harrogate. Our weekend away was totally spur of the moment simply to visit our favourite restaurant LeD2. I describe the review as unexpected excellence as there were no photos of Murray House on any of the .com booking sites, so I anticipated a building and room far below what we were met with.
Murray House is beautiful, and our room was fantastic value for money. Large, modern and tastfefully decorated with a very comfy bed.
Tracie was an excellent host - nothing was too much trouble, including her help when we had a delay getting there. A friendly service and welcome.
We're regular visitors to Harrogate and will be returning to Murray House next time for sure. Great location, close to everything.
If I could change anything, it'd be that we could've had an extra night there!
Thanks Tracie.
