“Beautiful Boutique B&B”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 March 2014

We booked a 2 night stay for my husbands birthday in Febuary, what a place, we were certainly not disappointed!
The house is fabulous, we had a double room which was at the front of the house, it was immaculate & beautifully decorated.
Nice little touches in the room, biscuits, sweets, tea & coffee.
The breakfast was beautiful.
Lovely atmosphere, the owners are very friendly.
We loved it so much we booked again & had one night midweek.
This time we had a very large room in the coach house, again, immaculate.
We would definately return.

Beautiful small guest house. We had the smallest room ( at a cheaper price than other rooms) & I couldn't fault it. Comfy bed, tea/coffee tray & biscuits/sweets. Friendly welcome, relaxed atmosphere & comfy lounge. Pretty dining room & young efficient staff with selection of breakfast menu. Little touches go a long way. Would highly recommend. Ps the shower/ bathroom is very small but it does state this when booking.

I booked this hotel as a treat for my boyfriends birthday this weekend (8th/9th March). We both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and felt extremely welcome. We stayed in room 6 at the top of the building which was had a spacious bedroom and adjoining bathroom. The bed was the best bed I have ever slept in, I literally sunk into it! The little touches with the jelly tots and magazines were great. I had also asked for a bottle of Prosecco as an extra treat which went down well! The breakfast was lovely, so much to choose from and very delicious. I would definitely recommend a stay here to anybody. Thank you to all concerned at The Bijou!

Booked this hotel for a weekend away with my partner and it was lovely. Room was a good sizzle, very cozy with a big comfy bed. Very short walk to the town centre. Breakfast was gorgeous! Lots if options. The honesty bar is a brilliant idea! The Owner was very friendly and welcoming. We will be back soon!

I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a stay in Harrogate.

We found the owners and staff to be incredibly helpful and friendly, the rooms are all thoughtfully and individually decorated - such a nice change from formulaic chains. The location is perfect - a 5 minute stroll and you're in the centre of Harrogate.

Breakfast is a particular highlight, with a top quality full english served up to start the day (plenty of alternatives such as waffles, continental selection etc also available if a cooked breakfast isn't your thing).

It's the little touches I loved though; up to date magazines and sweets in the room, free papers to read in the lovely lobby or at breakfast, a free water cooler in the hall and an 'honesty bar' to grab a night cap! You may think I'm easily pleased, but it all just creates an atmosphere where the guest feels looked after.

Thank you Bijou, we would stay again in a heartbeat and would recommend you to anyone going to Harrogate.

Stayed at The Bijou Sunday 23rd February just for one night. Our room (a double) was lovely overlooking the gardens at the front of the hotel. Quite a bit of traffic noise though at night so we did have to close the bedroom window. We were then too hot although there was no heating on. We had to open the window then to let some cold air in.

Room decorated very nicely indeed, hot shower, what more could you want. Free toiletires aswell. Breakfast was delish......

All in all, would recommend this B&B and would stay here again.

We stayed at the Bijou for the first time this weekend. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and given a map of Harrogate so that we could go explore- land marks and places to see were fully explained which was really useful as neither of us had previously visited Harrogate.

We were really impressed with the homeliness of our room which was very clean and fantastically decorated. The breakfast was really tasty and overall the stay was terrific value for money. Would definitely stay again!

Room Tip: We stayed in the main house but the coach house looks great for larger parties
