Food was fine, atmosphere good. Overall promises a lot but we found the service not so good. We ordered our drinks fine but while one came in a reasonable time frame the other three ....not so good and eventually we had to chase. Not a good start. And then it generally it took ages. While it's nice not to be rushed, it's not so good to be left and left and left and feel like an after thought. Will try again as it could have been lovely and maybe we just hit a bad one, but if it's like that again, won't try a third time. Sorry Jamie - don't think you would have been impressed.

Loved the atmopshere and decor...great bar to sit at, open kitchen and pizza oven and area to sit outside upstairs...very stylishly done. Food was good...not amazing but solid...liked the antipasto type starters and will be back for the pizzas from pizza oven. Quirky and makes a great, fun and hip night out. Vibrant place, would be great to visit with group of friends.

My mother, daughter and I dined here for lunch, we had a table on the terrace in the sunshine and it was lovely, the waiter who had come over from jamies in Leeds was very knowledgeable and recommended some lovely dishes for us, very tasty food indeed.

We went here on Saturday night for a birthday meal. Good atmosphere as the restaurant was busy, and the staff were very attentive to start with. We did have a bit of a wait for drinks and a minor blip when our wine was forgotten about completely. Our waiter was great, but seemed to be serving too many tables, so over the course of the meal he seemed to flag a bit and we lost him. The food is lovely, starters and mains were great. Onto dessert and the two gents in our party ordered ice cream, only to get portion fit for a 4 year old ! If we could have found our waiter we would have complained as the portion was three half dessert spoon sized scoops in a tiny dish. We were actually laughing it was that poor, but really it was very disappointing, and we had hoped for a wider range of more interesting ice cream flavours from the likes of Jamie ! Onto tea and coffee, no green tea was a little disappointing, and the Espresso we ordered consisted of a cup that was only one third full. All in all good food and alright service - but it could have been better. There are lots of great restaurants in Harrogate - so if Jamie wants this one to stay busy he need to up his game.
Now onto the decor. I totally get the look and concept of these restauarants, and overall it works. We've been to the Canary Wharf and Edinburgh restaurante and like them - its trendy, but rustic - fine. But did we really need to see a food mixer covered inside and out in pasta dough on the way upstairs, no. If you are going to be quirky and feel the need to have this equipment on show keep it clean guys ! I understand its a working machine, but it looked a total mess. Secondly, some of the seating is nice upholstered style, and the rest looks like it has been stolen from a primary school in the 1970's - plywood and wooden chairs mismatched and down right uncomfortable and some not the right height for the tables - we had to all swap seats before dessert as two of our party were in need of a comfy seat !!
I guess the overall criticism is, that a restaurant can be trendy and shabby chic in style, but please don't let this overstep hygiene or your customers comfort.

We went here to try out a large big name restaurant and we were not disappointed. The starters caprese salad needed a slice of bread to
Mop up the delicious plate, whereas the squid was good I have tasted better but that was in NZ. The Harrogate hot pizzas were excellent be warned they are seriously spicy not for wimps. The service was good and friendly. You pay top price for drinks
