Lovely old, traditional village pub. Warm and cosy, with open fires and a really wonderful atmosphere. We had a sunday roast dinner, which was cooked to perfection and very reasonably priced. The staff were so warm and friendly, as were the locals. Well worth a visit!

We stumbled across this little pub on the way home to Leeds and took a wrong turn. Delighted with the decor, service and food. Very chilled atmosphere and if you like your wood beams, open brickwork and log fires with a glass of wine then this is your place. Well worth going out of your way!!!

As our son and daughter in law live in Follifoot we are regular visitors and always try to visit the Radcliffe during our stay.

I last posted a review in 2012 and have got to say that the pub is getting better all the time. The beer and ambience has always been really pleasant but the menu food have improved over the period.

The prices are extremely competitive ( especially for somebody like us coming from the rip off prices we pay in the South of England!!) and the food good.

We look forward to our next visit and the welcome we always get from Jo and her staff.

We visited the Radcliffe Arms for hte fisrt time on New Year's day, and were delighted it was open! It was a miserable wet day outside, but made the contrast with the warm relaxed interior all the better.
They have an excellent range of Sam Smith's beer, although if you like a large range of wine this is probably not going to suit you!
The food was very good. We completely disagree with a previous reviewer's assertion that it was bought in. Ours was undoubtedly fresh. I had chicken and mushroom pie which had lots of garlic and white wine in the well reduced sauce, and the rest of the family had fish and chips.
Pudding was similarly freshly prepared.
The cost of food here is surprisingly cheap - a good 10 - 20% less than Harrogate pubs.
Overall it was a lovely quiet (thank goodness for no awful tinned music!!) warm relaxed pub with unpretentious tasty fresh food. We will definitely head here again when we are next in Follifoot.
