Absolutely faultless. Room was very clean, and bed was amazingly comfy. Ideal location for docks, and shopping at the quays designer outlet....30 seconds walk. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. And all for the bargain price of 40 quid for a double room. Would definitely stay again, and would definitely recommend.

Stayed for 4 nights in the hot weather, so especially glad of the air conditioning. The rooms are good except for the almost total lack of storage. No bedside tables, no drawers, just a short hanging rail for clothes. The bed was really the best part , so comfortable.
Car parking is acceptable at £6 per night, but signposting to the Travelodge is very poor, even though it is next door, but it is convoluted method of getting there. It did seem expensive at £289 for the stay for a budget hotel.

Recently stayed for 4 nights in this hotel for an incredibly low price (including breakfast) and feared it wouldn't be any good, but have to say I was very impressed. Staff are lovely, very friendly and welcoming. Room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Good shower in bathroom. We were at the front of the hotel and I was bit concerned about the busy road outside producing lots of noise, but come night-time, didn't really notice it and it didn't keep us awake.

We had breakfast every day in the on-site restaurant, and there was always a good choice of hot and cold items. We had dinner once whilst we were there, and it was fine.

We didn't attempt to park in the Outlet Centre car park as thought that even the reduced rate of £6 per day was excessive. We parked on a residential side-street with no problems and for free, and just a 2-3 minute walk to the hotel.

Gloucester City Centre is about a 10-15 minute walk away, so hotel in great position for visiting Cathedral and other attractions.

Having stayed in quite a few 4 and 5 star hotels this was just as good if not better than them, for a fraction of the cost.

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights at the Travelodge in Gloucester City Centre. We booked early and got a very good rate and added breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean and breakfast was a buffet which set us up for the day. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the historic centre and next door to a large modern shopping outlet.

The pubs in Gloucester are not great to eat in, with the the Dick Whittington the best one we found, Fountains Inn and the Wetherspoon's Water Poet are the next best. A nice looking Chinese restaurant is just round the corner from the hotel, but we didn't try that. We ate one evening in hotel itself, which was fine.

There is a car park next door, but this costs £6 a day or £2 a night, however we saved up to £24 by parking in the street about 5 minutes away.

The only slight downside was that the hotel is adjacent to a busy main road and the rooms at the front suffer somewhat from traffic noise.

All in all a great value for money stay.

Stayed one night while meeting a friend. We chose here as it is exactly half way between where we both live. Parking was easy but the getting to the front door wasn't as easy....more signs needed! Reception staff on arrival were friendly and helpful. Walking down the corridors to our room there was a bit of a funny smell but once inside our room everything was fine. Clean room and a fairly good nights sleep. Brilliant location as neither of us had been here before but town was easy to find. Plenty of places to eat nearby.we booked the day before and only paid £39 which was brilliant. I would happily go back here!

Ideall situated for a short walk to The Lodge premier swingers club - the travelodge is a cheap and cheerful base, if booked in advance - with the choice of a few nice eateries nearby - particularly recommend sitting near the gym at the quays....plenty of hot totty to watch, whilst enjoying tapas and sharing a bottle of fruity red!

Room Tip: don't tick accessable by wheelchair - the wetroom drainage as poor and made the room smell!

The hotel was great, it was close to the town centre and an outlet centre, the room was clean and tidy and the bed was so comfortable I did not want to get up. Overal I would recommend it big time....
