Nice room and very nice shower. However could hear the boy racers and traffic on the road on the opposite side of the hotel and people at 3am in the car park talking. I could also hear if anyone walked down the hallway or even turned their TV on in the neighbouring rooms!!

Room tip: Just don't go here !! no room will get you a good night sleep unless you want to be woken up at 3am by boy racers and people talking

On the outskirts of town, close to the motorway. Not much around on an evening if you don’t have a car as it’s sited just off a dual carriageway by an industrial area. Car parking involves you signing in on an iPad at reception or being fined. A taxi from Gloucester railway station was less than £10.
Rooms were small but adequate. Bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. The room is echoey as the flooring is hard surface rather than carpet. Tea and coffee making in each room and extra was available on request. Curtain did not quite meet at the edge so a sliver of light comes in. Bathroom has a step up and is a modular pod. Shower was large, easy to use and water hot. Shampoo and hand wash are provided. Linens are not bleached so appear to be a grubby colour but they are clean.
We ate in the restaurant on an evening and for breakfast. Dinner menu was substantial for such a small restaurant. Wholesome food, well cooked. Missed having dessert and coffee, none offered. Service was timely. Breakfast was adequate too for a chain establishment.
Would I return? Yes
The only reason I’ve not given 5 - stars is that the room could have been cleaner - coffee stain on bathroom floor and desk had stain rings on.

Stayed for three nights.
Parking is free if staying at hotel, just park and check in, they have a terminal at reception to enter you car reg for the number of days your there. (I.e. a 1 night stay will need the car park for two days, arrival and leaving.
Room was clean, and what you would expect. Be careful with what looks like air con. It's not, we turned it on to cool the room and when we returned at night it was heating it.
Bathroom is a pod thing, but big enough and clean.
Breakfast.was a buffet, help yourself, coked items, yogurt, cereals, croissants etc.
We left our car parked while there and got the number 10 bus to town. Walk through the road opposite the car park entrance to the next road over and the stop is almost opposite.
Good value and I'd use it again if I'm over that way.

Our daughter is at college near Gloucester and this has become our regular stay-over when visiting at half-term and end-of-term. The staff have always extended a friendly and courteous welcome. The rooms are clean and well-appointed with coffee, tea etc, the beds are comfortable, and we have always slept well. The buffet breakfast is very good, and I am particularly pleased that the mushrooms are fresh!
