Wow! We just wanted to try the place out after reading prior reviews but after a leisurely lunch on Saturday we rushed to reserve places for lunch on Sunday as well. We tried the goat curry on the first day with plantain and cassava which was delicious. You can ask Charlie to customise the spice in your curry. The next day my husband had the Ethiopian Goat curry and I had the Ethiopian King Fish. Both these were hotter than than the previous ones we tried but absolutely delicious with a spice mix of about 15 different spices. I cannot recommend this highly enough! Everyone visiting this area absolutely MUST try Charlie's wonderful food and hospitality.
P.S: Call well in advance especially for dinner at weekends.
You have to decide what you want to eat and inform Charlie in advance as everything is cooked to order, fresh. This includes sides as well, of which I highly recommend plantain and cassava chips.
