Was pleasantly surprised by the amount of things my two year old twins could do! Would definitely recommend!

Situated in Gloucester Quay, the museum was excellent, spread over 3 floors in a disused wharfside warehouse. Fantastic exhibits well presented and documented. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also went on a canal trip which was run by the museum, which also was good value for money. Nearby are many easteries and a designer outlet shopping experience.

The waterways Museum is a good half day visit with kids, lots of things going on for them to try out, and enough history to keep adults interested too. As someone who grew up close to a canal it's interesting to find out the history and heritage of the canal network.
