We just arrived home from the holidayinn and Really enjoyed. My wife had some spa treatment which she loved. Staff were great and the swimming pool and sauna was very relaxing, this is our 5th stay here and we will be back, the guys on the front desk were also chatty which we like. Definatly recomend, there is a nice pub over the round about and the food in there is lovely, the only slight complaint i would have is the bathroom, very dated. We had a executive room and would have thought this should have been of a higher quality

We stayed in the executive room, which was fantastic and worth the extra money. The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. Spa is fab and definitely worth a visit. Only downside was the food in the restaurant which is very pricey, however there a lots of places to eat nearby.

Stayed here for a night during the Cheltenham Festival.

Room was fine and had a good atmosphere. Staff were attenive and everything seemed to work well conmsidering how busy the hotel was.

My only complaint was the price of breakfast - £13.95 for some bacon and eggs is just ridiculous!

I've been to this hotel a few times and I really like the location, it's so easy for getting out and about. The hotel's absolutely fine, there's nothing wrong with it. It's not been refurbed for a while, but you can't expect things to stay brand new for ever. Everything was nice and clean, the food was good, and most of the staff were friendly. One downside was that the mattress was obviously more tired than the rest of the place it was very soft and bouncy so we didn't sleep to well.

just stayed one night and primarily picked this hotel due to pool, sauna, steam room etc (which was good). Room cold when we checked in but did warm up, although draft coming under door. Room clean but basic, and although pillows comfortable, mattress was dipping in middle. Pity we hadn't seem previous TA's comments about asking to be moved if given grond floor rooms near pool area as we did notice chlorine smell too:D We were one of 2 parties in the restaurant (6 people in total) and had eaten there just because it was snowing. Food ok but not great and certainly not worth £60+ for a couple of pizzas, 2 starters and a curry (which had a grand total of 3 mini chicken fillets in it), 2 lagers and 2 soft drinks. The restaurant and bar area were cold so after moving into bar and standing around the 2 watt mini heater for 5 mins we retired for the night. Situation not helped by a barman arguing that the communal areas not warm, despite both the restaurant manager and front desk manager confirming the heating wasn't working !!

Room Tip: like previous TA said, avoid ground floor near pool
