In a lovely setting and with a wonderful farm shop, but it can be a little disappointing at times. Mostly there is competition for a table and the system of giving your name doesn't always work - you find someone who turned up after you is seated first! As some other reviewers have observed the service can be patchy and the food not always brilliant, BUT when they are on form the whole mealtime experience is really good. Pricey, but that isn't altogether unexpected!
