We have stayed at the Edward Hotel several times over the years when visiting Gloucester Cajun & Zydeco festival.
Each time we have been greeted like old friends. We’ve also had the experience of staying in different rooms when visiting.
Each time the beds are really comfortable, lovely bed linen, clean towels & the rooms are clean with some well thought out extra touches
The breakfasts have also never disappointed. Today we were one of the last to the dining room but the breakfast was freshly made (not like some places where food is left standing)
My husband & I can’t believe The Edward hotel is classed as a two star, it’s definitely a lovely four star home from home to us.
Thank you team Edward

I moved in to Edward hotel in July 2022. It looks like a family run hotel. The staff are very polite, professional and nice. No job is too much for them. Karen is quiet and nice. She is happy to help always with a smile. The male manager is kind as well. He is very understanding of customers situation.

All the staff are proactive and helpful.
Rooms are clean and tidy. The microwave and TV in each room is quite a good idea. New set of towels supplied at all times and it’s a bonus that laundry service is available on request.

Although they still have a small kitchen for customers to prepare food.

I set off the alarm during my cooking twice! Felt bad about it but they were understanding and action taken.
I recommend this hotel to everyone. It is home away from home.

Lovely hotel and lovely staff.

We popped up to Gloucester for a Rock Festival, and needed somewhere that we could rest our weary heads for a couple of nights. The Check In was very quick and simple. The lady gave us all the information that we needed. The Room was lovely. We were there in a Cold Spell, but the radiator was on, so it felt very toasty in our room. The bed was comfortable, and the shower felt both hot enough and powerful enough to do it's job
We booked Breakfast as an extra for both mornings, and they were excellent. Definitely well worth the money. All of the staff that we met were friendly and helpful.
Checkout was also very quick ad simple. Overall, we had a great time in Gloucester, and if we come back, this is where we'd like to stay.

We were in a group of 5 couples staying here for an event in the town centre. Lovely people running the place, very large room with a comfortable bed, central heating and a nice shower. Breakfast was definitely worth the additional cost. We were all sat in the same area with a lovely open fire. Nice easy walk in to town. Would definitely stay here again

Had a very pleasant stay at the Edward Hotel .
Our rooms were spotless the staff very friendly and helpful. We were made to feel at home straight away. A great location near the centre of Gloucester, with only a few minutes walk in to the city centre.
