Popped in over the August bank holiday weekend. Location is excellent for an aviation based museum, situated as it is, at the far end of the Gloucestershire International Airport (Staverton Airport as it used to be known)
Free admission (though a donation is gratefully accepted, and deservedly so). Staffed by friendly and knowledgable volunteers, with a small but interesting collection of jet planes, plane mockups and other aviation related items.
Pride of place has to be sitting inside the Vulcan cockpit (expect a small wait as it only holds 4/5 people at a time and the guide spends approximately 10 mins giving a detailed and interesting talk from inside the cockpit).
Friendly little coffee shop and books and model aircraft kits can be bought from the small shop.
